Abridged Role Description

• Software development & maintenance of embedded systems - application, library & driver layers.
• Commissioning and Customer support.
• Development of supporting documentation.

Essential

• Electrical Engineering (or similar) or Computer Science degree qualified.
• Spry, confident and development focused.
• 4 years (minimum) embedded C and C++ industry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics. (switches, circuit breakers, motors, contactors etc. – nothing too onerous)
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel local, interstate and overseas.
• Passionate attitude towards industrial machinery.
• Ability to work unsupervised in a high pressure environment.

• Exposure to industrial communication networks.
• Exposure to safety critical development lifecycles.
• Exposure to the mining sector or similar industrial environment.
